Fear has left my body stuck to the chair,
I have no reason to be held there,
Silence creeps throughout the realm,
As the terror grows stronger than an elm.
With no idea as to what is happening,
This dismay has become baffling,
Feeling trapped without means of escape,
Looking for a saviour with a red cape.
My body starts to ache as I sit perfectly still,
I try to summon up some form of will,
Which is useless because I’ve not moved a hair,
Stuck to stay within a living nightmare.
Reminding Myself that it will soon pass,
Legs begin feeling denser than glass,
Once’s my body has dealt with the attack,
I will finally be rid of this flashback.
