Scold and Freeze

The water flows,

I have been forced off my toes,

I’m plunged into the depths,

I cannot take any breaths.

The scolding water burns,

Before the freezing water returns,

I’m forced to scream at both,

When you made me begin to loathe.

I am now a laughing stock,

As you joke with your own flock,

Look what you did to my hair,

You wanted to make people stare.

You played the long game,

As you made me feel eminence shame,

My confidence was entirely shot,

But that was part of your plot.

To make me feel like I was worthless,

While the whole situation was entirely mirthless,

You projected your abuser onto me,

Fighting back at a person who was weaker than he.
